Setting

Keeichi is a normal boy who lives on a man-only condo. One day, alone at his apartment, he tries to order some food and end up calling the "Goddess help service". A gorgeous Goddess, Belldandy, appears from the mirror on his room to make any (one) wish he has com true. Half jokingly, he asks "I would like for a Goddess like you to stay with me forever" ... and she actually grants him his wish. Now, Keichii has a Goddess as a roommate ... not that it will bring only good fortune.

Pacing

Oh! My Goddess is based on the very famous Oh! My Goddess manga.

With a light and funny environment, the strong points and focus are Keiichi and Belldandy relationship and eventual romance. Also, some of Belldandy Goddess sisters come to add further chaos to Keichii's life.

An excellent title. If you like it, be sure to check Oh! My Goddess - movie. There is also a TV series starting 2005 which retells the story but in more depth.

conclusion

Although a nice romance and comedy, Oh! My Goddess OVA is too short to actually be entertaining, and it's plot is very clichéd and predictable. Obviously there is no time to develop all the characters in such small OVA, but they could have done better. Perhaps that's the reason behind 2005 series.

This is clearly an OVA to promote the manga, since you can only get some follow-up and conclusion if you read it, but the OVAs can be seen without any knowledge on the manga and still be entertaining.
