Amazing work from SHAFT at this title, by mergin 2C=Galore with Nanao Naru character design and a perfect storywritting, SHAFT came up hard on one of the best anime for 2007, inserting their studio among the top ~ finally (it's been a long SHAFT tradition since they started, and none offered real artwork surprise until EF)

The idea on this wallpaper follows the same theme as the scan, except I redid everything from scratch. The hardest was the clouds, there are about 10 cloud layers to come up with the desired effect, and than at least 3 starfields to properly offer what I wanted as a starry sundown sky. The lensflare is also different from usual, tinted and behind the characters since the scan already offered the proper lightning.

I loved doing a curved sky. It was hard but far worth it.

And mind you, I don't use many male characters on my wallpapers, this is actually problably my second wallpaper with a male character ... ever (the first was a Iriya wallpaper). Yet, I'm not going to say it was by mistake, I think Miyako and Hirino match perfectly both in appearance but as well personalities, so his presence at this wall was kind of a given.
