Hai! Miyamura Miyako DEEESU~

I got somewhat tired from my Aria calming wallpaper (which I did on early december, so you can guess how long it's been since I changed my notebook wallpaper) and when I saw this image I know this was going to be the next one.

Originally I had some dark clouds in the back (alternate 2) but I think it came out ugly so I removed from the main version. Any hints and suggestions on those clouds (or if it was the right choice to get rid of them xD) is welcome.

Hardest part was to give a good toned texture to the sky which did not appear like a simple gradient but at the same time was natural, which I think I god, and the sea wave in the bottom left, though it was actually easy after I got the idea to just duplicate the water texture, overlay it brighter and then cut both simulating the wave + white bubbles effects on top of it.

Oh well, I'm in a calm mood latelly, at least wallpaper-wise, so expect more of these to come, including a demanded birthday-present >.>
