I find H2O one of the best romances latelly. Although the ending is too magical, I still cannot hold my emotions everytime I listen to "Footsteps on the sand", which is the ED for the last episode and the climax emotional moment of the series, other than the romance itself that also have good points along the way.

This image shows two ultimate messages from the series, on not giving up, cherrishing the ones you love, and hoping for a better tomorrow. The title does not intent to tell you to "wait" for good things, but rather not give up and keep fighting and searching, for things always come for those who "wait" (proactive wait, that is).

Hayami is simply astonishing in this dress, and with the cool windmil they built for reasons I cannot tell or I would spoil the title ;), the wall easilly represents everything good this series has.

And for that, I am very proud to tell you that this was, by far and square, the wallpaper that I put more effort in time. I never spent more than some 5 hours on a wallpaper, but this one reached easilly 20 hours in almost two weeks, that counting the perfect work on her extraction and vectoring (she is not vectored, but I had to vector major parts due to text overlapping, including almost all her body bellow breast line and lots of hair. I wanted the extraction to be so perfect I even extracted for the first time using pen tool (I usually use polygonal lasso as it's faster)

But that's not why I'm proud: every little flower, leaf, tanpopo, DOT you see on the grass was completelly vectored and draw one by one. Sure there are some that are duplicated, but no single leaf is duplicated more than 3 times, and there are about 50 of them (some 30 not duplicated at all). I used some old flower vectors I had but kept them at minimal: I wanted all-new vectors. I also did not use any imagery from other people. The sky, while being also partially reused from some other walls, was re-textured and the clouds re-done even though they are on the same position. I also made some very subtle (I doubt you can see, but that's what makes them pretty) bluish taint on the clouds shades

Finally some lightning effects to simulate wind, and the work is done. I plan on posting the PNG with Hayami and all the nature vectors too ^^

And for all that work, sure I had to make all 3 resolutions. WS, 4:3 and 5:4. And mind you, they are NOT crops, I actually re-worked part of the flowers and leafs to fit better on each version.
